The VALUE COLLECTION RNB60-8 is a non-insulated circular ring terminal designed for crimped wire terminations in electrical wiring applications. Built with a copper contact, it accommodates 1/0 AWG wire (60 square millimeters) and fits a 5/16-inch stud. The terminal measures 1.957 inches in overall length and 0.866 inches in ring width, with a contact thickness of 0.071 inches. Its bare copper construction provides solid conductivity at the termination point. Electricians and electrical contractors install this terminal type when making secure, low-resistance connections at bus bars, battery terminals, lugs, and similar high-current termination points.
This ring terminal is suited for residential, commercial, and industrial electrical wiring where a non-insulated crimp lug is required. Typical applications include battery cable assemblies, grounding connections, power distribution panels, and heavy-gauge wire terminations requiring a 5/16-inch stud hole. The non-insulated design allows for inspection of the crimp joint after installation and is commonly used where sleeving or heat-shrink is applied separately by the installer.

Installation should be performed by a qualified electrician in accordance with applicable NEC requirements. De-energize the circuit and verify zero voltage before terminating any conductor. Use a calibrated ratcheting crimp tool rated for 1/0 AWG terminals to ensure a proper mechanical and electrical connection. Do not solder over a crimped terminal, as this can create stress points and reduce the integrity of the joint.
