The VALUE COLLECTION RNB60-6 is a non-insulated circular ring terminal designed for high-current electrical connections in industrial, commercial, and residential wiring applications. The terminal uses a crimp connection method to secure 1/0 AWG conductors, providing a reliable mechanical and electrical bond without soldering. Constructed from copper contact material, it delivers strong conductivity suited to heavy-gauge wire runs. At 1.957 inches in overall length and 0.866 inches in ring width, the RNB60-6 accommodates a 1/4-inch stud and is rated for 60 square millimeter wire cross-sections. Electricians and electrical contractors working on panel feeds, battery cables, grounding systems, and large equipment terminations will find this terminal a straightforward, code-appropriate choice.
This ring terminal is used wherever 1/0 AWG conductors must be terminated to a stud, lug, or bus bar. Typical applications include main service entrance wiring, battery bank connections, inverter and generator output leads, grounding electrode conductors, and heavy motor feed circuits. The non-insulated design allows the installer to apply heat-shrink sleeving or leave the terminal bare depending on the installation environment and code requirements. It is appropriate for both new construction and service replacement work in residential, commercial, and light industrial settings.
Designed as a standard crimp ring terminal for 1/0 AWG conductors terminating to 1/4-inch studs in electrical panel, grounding, battery, and heavy equipment wiring applications.
Installation should be performed by a licensed electrician in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and any applicable local amendments. De-energize and lock out the circuit before terminating conductors. Use a ratcheting crimp tool rated for 1/0 AWG non-insulated terminals to achieve a full, gas-tight crimp. Do not use pliers or non-calibrated tools as a substitute, as an incomplete crimp can result in high-resistance joints or conductor pullout.
