The VALUE COLLECTION R52001625 is a 1/2-20 UNF hex lock nut with a nylon insert locking mechanism, manufactured from Grade 8 steel with a zinc yellow dichromate finish. The nylon insert creates interference with the mating thread, resisting loosening from vibration and dynamic loading without damaging the bolt thread. At 19/32 inches high with a 3/4-inch width across flats, this nut fits standard hex tooling. The zinc yellow dichromate coating provides corrosion resistance in moderate-exposure environments. Installation Notes
