The VALUE COLLECTION R52000337 is a standard tee nut designed for secure, flush-mount threaded inserts in wood, composite, and soft materials. Manufactured from zinc-plated steel, it provides corrosion resistance suitable for indoor mechanical and construction applications. The 10-24 thread size accommodates standard machine screws of the same designation. The 5/16-inch barrel length allows proper embedment depth, while the 3/4-inch flange diameter distributes clamping load across the surface. Three prongs bite into the substrate to prevent rotation during fastener engagement. This hardware is commonly installed by carpenters, furniture assemblers, millworkers, and general contractors.
This tee nut is suited for residential and light commercial applications where a permanent, back-side threaded anchor is needed in wood panels, particleboard, or MDF. Typical installations include furniture joints, equipment enclosures, workbench fixtures, and cabinetry assemblies. The zinc-plated finish adds a baseline level of oxidation resistance for dry indoor environments. Sold individually, with a minimum order quantity of 100 pieces per order.
Designed as a standard 10-24 tee nut for use in wood, particleboard, MDF, and similar soft substrates where a rear-facing threaded insert is required.
Installation is typically performed by carpenters, assembly technicians, or general tradespeople using a drill press or hand drill to bore a clearance hole sized for the barrel diameter. The tee nut is inserted from the back face of the panel with prongs oriented toward the material, then pressed or lightly tapped flush with a mallet before the mating fastener is driven. Ensure the substrate thickness accommodates the full barrel length to achieve proper thread engagement. Do not overdrive the mating screw, as this can strip the threaded insert or split the surrounding material.
