The VALUE COLLECTION R50000106 is a drop-in concrete anchor designed for flush-mount fastening in solid concrete and masonry applications. The anchor measures 3/8 inch in diameter with an overall length of 1-9/16 inches and requires a minimum embedment depth of 1-9/16 inches. Constructed from Grade 5 steel with a zinc-plated finish, it delivers corrosion resistance suitable for interior and protected exterior installations. A 5/8-inch thread length accommodates standard threaded rod or bolt engagement. This type of anchor is installed by embedding it into a drilled hole in concrete, then setting it with an expansion tool before threading in the fastener.
Drop-in concrete anchors of this type are used in residential, commercial, and light industrial construction settings. Common applications include suspended ceiling systems, mechanical equipment mounting, electrical conduit supports, and overhead fastening to concrete slabs or walls. The R50000106 is specified for use with the NFCDT38 setting tool, which expands the anchor body against the bore wall for a secure hold. This anchor is appropriate for any trade requiring a reliable flush concrete fastening point, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical contractors working in concrete-structured buildings.
Specified for use with the NFCDT38 setting tool. Designed as an OEM-style drop-in anchor for standard 3/8 inch threaded rod or bolt fastener systems in solid concrete and masonry substrates.
Installation requires drilling a correctly sized hole in solid concrete to the specified embedment depth before inserting the anchor. Power down or de-energize any nearby electrical systems before drilling in finished spaces. The anchor must be set using the appropriate setting tool to expand the sleeve; do not substitute tools or attempt to set by driving with a bolt alone. Follow applicable building codes, including IBC and OSHA overhead fastening guidelines, when selecting anchor size and spacing for structural or overhead applications.
