The VALUE COLLECTION PH5850 is a 50-foot rubber hot water hose built for demanding service environments where heat resistance and pressure integrity are non-negotiable. Constructed from rubber with a 5/8-inch inner diameter and 3/4-inch GHT (Garden Hose Thread) fittings, this hose is rated to 425 psi maximum working pressure. Its black rubber construction provides durability across commercial and industrial wash-down, plumbing, and general hot water transfer applications. At 12.6 pounds, the assembly is substantial but manageable for a single technician. Plumbers, facility maintenance crews, and trade professionals install this hose in applications where standard garden or utility hoses lack the thermal and pressure ratings required.
The PH5850 is suited for hot water transfer in commercial kitchens, laundry facilities, mechanical rooms, and industrial wash-down stations. The 50-foot length provides reach in large bays or open floor areas without requiring additional hose couplings. The 3/4-inch GHT thread is a widely used connection standard, making this hose compatible with most utility spigots, hot water outlets, and service equipment using that thread type. This is not a self-coiling or all-seasons hose and should be stored appropriately when not in use.
Designed as a general-purpose hot water hose for use with standard 3/4-inch GHT (Garden Hose Thread) connections on commercial and industrial hot water outlets and service equipment.
Shut off the water supply and relieve line pressure before connecting or disconnecting the hose. Hand-tighten GHT fittings first, then use a wrench to snug — do not overtighten, as rubber-seated GHT connections seal without excessive torque. Inspect the hose for kinks, abrasion, or fitting damage before pressurizing. A licensed plumber or qualified maintenance technician should make connections to permanent plumbing systems in compliance with applicable local codes.
