The VALUE COLLECTION PC71GS-52 is a push-to-connect male swivel run tee fitting designed for use in pneumatic and fluid transfer tubing systems. Constructed from polyoxymethylene (POM), this fitting accepts 5/16 inch OD tubing and connects to a 1/8 inch NPT male thread port. The swivel design allows the threaded end to rotate during installation, reducing torque stress on the tubing or mating port. Rated to 150 psi, it is suited for low-pressure air, water, and compatible fluid lines commonly found in HVAC, refrigeration, and light industrial plumbing applications. Installation requires no ferrules or clamps — tubing inserts directly and locks with an internal collet.
This fitting is used wherever a run tee connection is needed in a push-to-connect tubing circuit. Typical applications include instrument air lines, condensate drain assemblies, refrigeration sensing lines, and light-duty pneumatic control circuits. The 1/8 inch NPT male thread allows direct port mounting into manifolds, valves, or threaded fittings. The run tee configuration routes flow through the straight run while adding a branch off the same body, making it a compact solution for splitting or adding a third leg to an existing tube run without additional adapters.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation fitting for push-to-connect tubing systems using 5/16 inch OD tubing with 1/8 inch NPT ported components.
This fitting is typically installed by HVAC technicians, plumbers, or instrumentation mechanics working on low-pressure tubing circuits. Before installation, depressurize and isolate the tubing circuit completely. Ensure tubing ends are cut cleanly and squarely with no burrs — ragged cuts will compromise the collet seal and cause leaks. Thread the NPT male end into the port by hand first, then tighten with a wrench to avoid cross-threading; apply thread sealant tape in accordance with the applicable plumbing or mechanical code.
