The VALUE COLLECTION PC110NB-64 is a brass pipe bushing used to reduce a 3/8-inch female NPT port down to a 1/4-inch male NPT connection. It carries a 1,000 psi pressure rating and features a nickel-plated finish that resists corrosion in wet and humid environments. This fitting is a standard threaded reducing bushing installed inline wherever a pipe or component thread size needs to step down. Plumbers, HVAC technicians, and pipefitters use this type of bushing in gas, water, and compressed-air piping systems where port size reduction is required without additional adapters.
This bushing is suited for residential and light commercial plumbing, HVAC refrigerant line accessories, compressed-air distribution, and general fluid-handling applications. The FNPT x MNPT end configuration threads directly into a female-threaded port on a valve, manifold, or pipe fitting, while the male end accepts the smaller downstream connection. It is a compact, single-piece solution for reducing pipe thread sizes in tight spaces.
Designed as a standard threaded reducing bushing for use in any system with NPT-threaded ports requiring a 3/8-inch to 1/4-inch pipe thread reduction.
This fitting is installed by plumbers and pipefitters working on water, gas, or compressed-air lines. Shut off system pressure and drain the line before threading in the bushing. Apply thread sealant tape or pipe dope to the male threads per local plumbing code requirements. Do not overtighten; use an appropriately sized pipe wrench and follow applicable IPC or IFGC guidelines for threaded fitting assembly.
