The VALUE COLLECTION P20312 is a standard clevis pin used to create secure, removable pivot connections in mechanical assemblies, linkages, and clevis-end fittings. The pin measures 0.5 inches in diameter with an overall length of 2.25 inches and a usable length of 2.09 inches. A 0.156-inch cotter pin hole is machined through the shank to accept a retaining pin or cotter pin, keeping the clevis pin locked in place under load. Manufactured from 18-8 stainless steel with an uncoated finish, it offers solid corrosion resistance in moderate-exposure environments. This part is typically installed by mechanics, millwrights, or maintenance technicians working on manual linkages, control rods, and bracket assemblies.
The P20312 clevis pin fits standard clevis-end connectors, rod ends, and bracket assemblies that accept a 0.5-inch pin. Applications include mechanical linkage systems, control cable terminations, pivot mounts, and general fastening where a removable pin connection is required. The uncoated stainless steel construction makes it suitable for indoor and light outdoor use where mild corrosion resistance is needed without additional surface treatment. It is commonly used in light industrial, HVAC control linkage, and general maintenance applications.
Designed as a standard replacement clevis pin for mechanical linkage assemblies and clevis-end fittings requiring a 0.5-inch pin diameter with a 2.25-inch overall length.
Install and removal requires no special tooling beyond a drift punch and mallet for pressed fits. Always insert the appropriate cotter pin or retaining clip through the cross-hole after installation to prevent the pin from backing out during operation. Inspect the clevis bore and pin diameter for wear or deformation before reinstalling. Shut down and de-energize any mechanical or electrical linkage system before servicing pin connections.
