The VALUE COLLECTION P20311 is a standard clevis pin designed for use in mechanical linkage assemblies, couplings, and pivot connections across a wide range of industrial and trade applications. The pin measures 0.5 inches in diameter with an overall length (OAL) of 1.75 inches and a usable length of 1.594 inches. A 0.156-inch cotter pin hole is positioned near the retaining end to accept a standard cotter pin or hitch pin clip, securing the pin in place during operation. Constructed from 18-8 stainless steel with an uncoated finish, this clevis pin resists corrosion in wet or outdoor environments. Mechanical contractors, maintenance technicians, and equipment fabricators regularly use clevis pins in linkage assemblies, control rod connections, and load-bearing pivot points.
This clevis pin is suited for light-duty to medium-duty mechanical linkage applications in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. Typical uses include actuator rod connections, gate hardware, chain links, control cable terminations, and similar pivot-point assemblies where a removable fastener is required. The 18-8 stainless steel construction makes it appropriate for use in humid, coastal, or washdown environments where mild corrosion resistance is a requirement. Sold individually; minimum order quantity is 5 units.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or service replacement clevis pin for mechanical linkage assemblies requiring a 0.5-inch diameter standard clevis pin with a 1.75-inch overall length.
Clevis pins are typically installed and serviced by mechanical or maintenance technicians using basic hand tools. Before servicing any linked assembly, relieve all tension or load on the linkage and lock out or de-energize any connected actuator or mechanism per applicable safety procedures. Insert the clevis pin through aligned holes in the clevis and mating component, then secure with an appropriate cotter pin or hitch pin clip through the retaining hole — never operate the assembly without a retention fastener in place. Inspect the pin and mating components for wear, elongation, or corrosion during each service interval.
