The VALUE COLLECTION P20175 is a standard clevis pin machined from 18-8 stainless steel and intended for use in linkage assemblies, mechanical fastening applications, and pivot connections across industrial and trade settings. The pin measures 0.625 inches in diameter with an overall length of 2.5 inches and a usable length of 2.344 inches. A 0.156-inch cotter pin hole is drilled through the shank to accept a standard cotter pin or snap ring for positive retention. The uncoated stainless steel construction resists corrosion in wet or outdoor service environments. Installation requires no special tooling in most applications. Licensed mechanics, millwrights, HVAC technicians, and plumbers use clevis pins in bracket assemblies, damper linkages, and valve actuator connections.
This clevis pin is suited for light-to-medium duty linkage and pivot applications where a removable, corrosion-resistant fastener is required. Common use cases include HVAC damper rod connections, actuator brackets, pump and valve linkage assemblies, and general mechanical assemblies in both residential and commercial settings. The 18-8 stainless steel grade provides good resistance to oxidation and mild chemical exposure, making it appropriate for humid mechanical rooms, rooftop equipment, and outdoor installations. Sold individually as a single-piece unit.
Designed as a standard-dimension clevis pin for use in any application requiring a 0.625-inch diameter pin with a 2.5-inch overall length and a 0.156-inch cotter hole.
Always de-energize or lock out any mechanical, electrical, or fluid system before replacing or installing a clevis pin in a linkage assembly. Align the pin through the clevis and yoke bores completely before inserting the cotter pin through the retention hole. Use an appropriately sized cotter pin or snap ring rated for the load and do not reuse a previously deformed cotter pin. Verify clearance and alignment of the linkage before returning the system to service.
