The VALUE COLLECTION P20013 is a standard clevis pin machined from 18-8 stainless steel, used to secure clevises, yokes, and linkage assemblies across a wide range of mechanical and structural applications. The pin measures 0.375 inches in pin diameter with an overall length of 3 inches and a usable length of 2.844 inches. A 0.156-inch cotter pin hole is drilled through the shank to accept a standard cotter pin or hairpin clip for positive retention. The uncoated stainless steel construction provides corrosion resistance without plating or coating that could flake in service. This pin is installed by maintenance mechanics, millwrights, and fabricators working on clevis-style rod-end connections, cylinder attachments, or hinge linkages.
This clevis pin is suited for light-duty to medium-duty mechanical linkage work in both indoor and outdoor environments where corrosion resistance is a priority. Common applications include hydraulic and pneumatic cylinder rod-end connections, gate hinges, cable clevis assemblies, and structural pin joints. The 18-8 stainless steel grade makes it appropriate for food-processing, marine-adjacent, and washdown environments where carbon steel fasteners would corrode. It is sold individually and typically ordered in multiples of five.
Designed as a standard-dimension replacement or new-installation clevis pin for 3/8-inch clevis assemblies, rod-end clevises, and yoke-style linkage hardware requiring an 18-8 stainless steel pin with a 0.156-inch cotter hole.
Installation requires no special tooling beyond a mallet or drift punch to seat the pin through aligned clevis bores. Always install a correctly sized cotter pin or hairpin clip through the cotter hole after insertion to prevent the pin from walking out under load or vibration. Inspect the clevis bore and pin for wear or galling before reuse. Follow applicable machinery safety standards and lock out or tag out equipment before servicing any linkage or clevis assembly.
