The VALUE COLLECTION NFC56080 is a hammer drive concrete anchor designed for fast, tool-simple fastening into concrete, brick, and masonry substrates. Measuring 3/8 inch in diameter and 3 inches in overall length, this anchor requires a minimum embedment of 1-1/4 inches to achieve rated holding performance. The body is fabricated from steel with a zinc-plated finish to resist surface corrosion in typical interior and sheltered exterior environments. Installation is straightforward: drill a matching hole, insert the anchor, and drive the nail with a hammer to expand the sleeve and lock the anchor in place. Commonly installed by electricians, plumbers, HVAC technicians, and general contractors when securing conduit straps, pipe hangers, equipment supports, or similar hardware to concrete surfaces.
This anchor is suited for residential and light commercial applications where a permanent, non-removable fastener is acceptable. Typical use cases include securing junction box straps, pipe support clips, duct hangers, and cable management hardware to poured concrete floors, walls, and ceilings, as well as concrete block and brick. The hex nut head style allows for wrench tightening of attached hardware after the anchor is set. These anchors are sold in a minimum order quantity of 50 units per order, with a package quantity of 1 per unit as listed.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement and standard fitment hammer drive anchor for use in poured concrete, concrete block, and brick masonry substrates requiring a 3/8 inch diameter fastener.
Installation is performed by drilling a clean 3/8 inch diameter hole to the required depth using a carbide-tipped masonry bit, then inserting the anchor and driving the nail flush with a hammer. Always blow or vacuum debris from the drilled hole before setting the anchor to ensure full embedment and proper expansion. De-energize any electrical circuits and shut off fluid systems in the work area before drilling into walls, floors, or ceilings. Follow applicable building codes and fastener manufacturer load tables when selecting anchor spacing and embedment depth for structural or safety-critical applications.
