The VALUE COLLECTION NFC5541 is a steel toggle bolt anchor designed for fastening into hollow wall substrates including drywall, wallboard, plaster, hollow tile, and concrete or masonry. It measures 0.5 inches in diameter with an overall length of 4 inches and accepts a 0.5-inch screw. The anchor is zinc-finished for corrosion resistance and carries a maximum load capacity of 2,550 lb. The slotted/Phillips drive type accommodates standard screwdrivers and combo drivers. This anchor is installed by electricians, plumbers, HVAC technicians, and general contractors when securing equipment, brackets, or conduit to hollow wall assemblies.
The NFC5541 is suited for residential and light commercial applications where a reliable hollow-wall fastening solution is required. Compatible substrates include drywall, wallboard, plaster, hollow tile, and concrete or masonry surfaces. It is appropriate for use when mounting electrical boxes, pipe supports, duct hangers, or other hardware to walls where solid stud backing is not available. The 2,550 lb load capacity makes it suitable for moderately heavy fixture and bracket installations in typical interior wall conditions.
Designed for use in drywall, wallboard, plaster, hollow tile, and concrete or masonry wall assemblies as an OEM-style hollow wall fastening anchor.
Toggle bolt anchors are installed by folding the toggle wings and pushing them through a pre-drilled hole sized to the anchor diameter, then tightening the screw until the wings seat firmly against the back face of the wall. Power down any nearby electrical circuits before drilling into walls to avoid contact with concealed wiring. Follow local building codes and applicable load ratings when selecting anchor count and placement for structural or equipment-support applications. Do not exceed the stated load capacity of the anchor.
