The VALUE COLLECTION NFC5241 is a steel toggle bolt anchor designed for fastening into hollow wall assemblies including drywall, plaster, hollow tile, and wallboard. The anchor measures 1/4 inch in diameter and 4 inches in overall length, accepting a 1/4-inch screw. A zinc finish provides basic corrosion resistance for interior installations. With a maximum load capacity of 830 pounds, this anchor is rated for demanding applications where standard plastic anchors are insufficient. Installation requires drilling a clearance hole, collapsing the toggle wings to pass through the wall, and tightening the screw to seat the wings against the back face of the wall material. Trade professionals in electrical, HVAC, and general construction use these anchors to secure conduit hangers, junction boxes, and equipment brackets to hollow partitions.
This toggle bolt anchor is suited for residential and light commercial installations where fasteners must engage hollow wall cavities. Approved substrate types include wallboard, plaster, hollow tile, and similar hollow-core wall materials. The slotted and Phillips drive type accommodates standard flat-head and Phillips screwdrivers or power drivers. With a minimum order quantity of 50 units, this part is packaged as a single unit per package and is appropriate for service vehicles, maintenance shops, or jobsite supply where bulk quantities are needed.
Designed for use in hollow wall substrates including drywall, wallboard, plaster, hollow tile, and concrete or masonry applications requiring a 1/4-inch toggle bolt anchor.
Installation should be performed by a qualified tradesperson familiar with hollow wall fastening practices. Before installing, confirm wall material type and verify the clearance hole diameter matches the collapsed toggle wing width. Do not overtighten the screw once the toggle wings have seated against the back wall face, as this can crush drywall or strip the anchor. Always de-energize any circuits or systems in the work area before drilling into wall cavities.
