The VALUE COLLECTION NFC5233 is a steel toggle bolt hollow wall anchor designed to provide secure fastening in drywall, plaster, hollow tile, and wallboard applications. The anchor measures 1/4 inch in diameter by 3 inches overall length and accepts a 1/4 inch screw. Featuring a zinc finish for corrosion resistance, it delivers a maximum load capacity of 830 pounds, making it well suited for demanding trade installations where hollow-wall fastening must hold hardware, conduit supports, brackets, or fixtures reliably. The slotted/Phillips drive type accommodates common hand tools found in every electrician, plumber, or general trades kit.
This toggle bolt anchor is intended for use in hollow wall surfaces including drywall, wallboard, plaster, and hollow tile. It is a standard choice when a stud or solid substrate is not accessible and the installer needs a rated holding capacity in a cavity wall. Typical applications include mounting junction boxes, pipe straps, conduit hangers, cabinet hardware, and other structural or mechanical accessories in residential and light commercial construction. The anchor is packaged individually, with a minimum order quantity of 50 units, making it practical for stocking on service vehicles or in shop inventory.
Designed for use in hollow wall substrates including drywall, wallboard, plaster, hollow tile, and concrete/masonry surfaces where a toggle-style anchor is the appropriate fastening method.
Installation is typically performed by electricians, plumbers, or general contractors as part of rough-in or finish work. Drill a pilot hole sized to allow the folded toggle wings to pass through the wall before inserting the anchor. Ensure the toggle wings fully open and seat flush against the back of the wall surface before tightening the screw. Do not overtighten, as excessive torque can pull the anchor through the wallboard face.
