The VALUE COLLECTION NFC5031 is a steel toggle bolt anchor designed for fastening into hollow wall and cavity substrates. With a 0.125-inch screw diameter and 3-inch overall length, this anchor spreads load across the back face of the wall material once deployed. The zinc finish provides corrosion resistance suitable for interior applications. Rated to 310 pounds maximum load capacity, it is suitable for hanging fixtures, brackets, and equipment in trade and commercial interior installations. A slotted and Phillips drive makes it compatible with standard screwdrivers and combination-tip power drivers. Licensed tradespeople and general contractors install this type of anchor as part of routine mechanical, electrical, and plumbing rough-in and finish work.
The NFC5031 anchor is suited for use in hollow tile, plaster, wallboard, and concrete or masonry substrates. It is commonly installed when a stud or solid backing is not accessible behind the wall surface. Typical applications include mounting junction boxes, pipe hangers, conduit supports, HVAC equipment brackets, and similar trade hardware to drywall and hollow partition assemblies in residential and light commercial construction. This anchor is sold in minimum order quantities of 100 units, making it appropriate for contractors who require consistent quantities for ongoing project work rather than one-off installations.
Designed for use in hollow tile, plaster, wallboard, and concrete or masonry wall assemblies where a toggle-style mechanical anchor is required for interior fastening applications.
Installation is typically performed by general contractors, electricians, plumbers, or HVAC mechanics during fixture and equipment mounting. Drill a clearance hole sized to allow the folded toggle wings to pass through the wall material before inserting the anchor. Once through the wall, pull the bolt back firmly to seat the toggle wings flat against the interior wall face before applying final torque. Always verify that the substrate is in good condition and that the load applied does not exceed the rated 310-pound capacity of the anchor.
