The anchor body is machined from Zamac alloy and finished with a zinc-plated coating for corrosion resistance in typical interior and sheltered exterior environments. At 0.25 inches in diameter with a 1.5 inches overall length, this anchor seats via a standard hammer strike, expanding within the base material to create a secure mechanical hold. The mushroom head profile sits flush against the work surface once driven. Installation requires only a hammer and the correct drill bit size, making it a common choice for production fastening tasks on the job site.
This anchor is suited for light-duty to medium-duty fastening applications in poured concrete and concrete masonry unit substrates. Typical use cases include attaching electrical conduit straps, pipe supports, wire management clips, junction box brackets, and similar trade hardware to concrete walls, floors, and ceilings. It is used regularly by electricians, plumbers, HVAC mechanics, and general contractors where speed of installation is a priority. The 0.25 inch drill size keeps prep work minimal, and the anchor drives without specialty tooling.

Verify base material type and load requirements before installation, as Zamac alloy anchors are not rated for overhead life-safety or seismic applications without engineering review. Follow applicable building codes and the anchor manufacturer load tables for the intended substrate. Do not overdrive the anchor, as this can crack the Zamac body and reduce holding strength.
