The VALUE COLLECTION NFC2416M is a hammer drive concrete anchor designed for fast, tool-minimal fastening into concrete, masonry, and block substrates. The anchor body is constructed from nylon with a zinc-plated finish, making it suitable for light-duty to medium-duty fastening applications where corrosion resistance and electrical non-conductivity are priorities. At 2 inches overall length with a 1/4 inch diameter and requiring a 1/4 inch drill bit, this anchor sets quickly by driving the pin with a hammer to expand the body against the base material. Licensed contractors, electricians, and general tradespeople commonly install this type of anchor when securing conduit straps, junction boxes, fixtures, and similar hardware to concrete surfaces.
This anchor is suited for residential and light commercial applications where concrete or masonry attachment points are needed without adhesive anchoring or threaded rod systems. The mushroom head profile distributes load across the surface of the attached material. Typical install scenarios include securing electrical boxes and conduit supports to poured concrete walls, attaching wood nailers to concrete slabs, and similar surface-mount fastening tasks. A minimum embedment depth of 3-1/2 inches is required for proper holding performance.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement and general-use hammer drive anchor for light-duty fastening into concrete, block, and masonry base materials requiring a 1/4 inch diameter hole.
Installation is performed by drilling a 1/4 inch hole to the required depth using a hammer drill, clearing debris from the hole, inserting the anchor, and driving the pin flush with a standard hammer. Ensure the base material is sound and free of cracks before setting the anchor. Minimum embedment depth of 3-1/2 inches must be maintained for rated holding strength. Follow applicable building codes and project specifications when determining anchor spacing and load requirements.
