The VALUE COLLECTION NFC2005 is a plastic concrete anchor designed for fastening into masonry and concrete substrates. At 15/64 inches in diameter and 1-1/2 inches in overall length, this anchor provides a secure, low-profile fastening point in solid concrete, block, or brick. The plastic body is well suited for light-duty anchoring applications where corrosion resistance or electrical isolation is a consideration. It is commonly installed by electricians, plumbers, HVAC technicians, and general contractors when securing conduit, pipe hangers, electrical boxes, and similar fixtures to concrete or masonry surfaces.
This anchor is designed for use with number 7 to number 9 screws, making it compatible with a wide range of common fastener sizes found in trade and construction work. It fits typical residential and light commercial installation scenarios where masonry anchoring is required without the need for heavy-duty metal expansion anchors. The compact overall length of 1-1/2 inches suits shallow embedment applications in solid concrete or block walls.
Designed for use with number 7 to number 9 screws in concrete and masonry anchoring applications.
Installation is performed by drilling a hole of the appropriate diameter into the concrete or masonry surface and inserting the anchor flush with or slightly below the surface before driving the mating screw. Use a hammer drill with a carbide-tipped masonry bit sized to match the anchor diameter. Always wear appropriate eye protection when drilling into concrete or masonry. Refer to local building codes for fastener and anchor requirements specific to the application.
