The VALUE COLLECTION MSFXX10055-025BX is a metric flat head slotted machine screw manufactured from Grade 316 stainless steel with a bright, uncoated finish. It carries an M10x1.5 thread size and measures 55 millimeters in overall length. Grade 316 stainless steel, also designated A4 under DIN standards, provides strong corrosion resistance in wet, marine, and chemically active environments. The flat head profile sits flush with the mating surface when properly countersunk. This fastener is manufactured to DIN 963 standards, making it a consistent choice for metric assemblies requiring dimensional accuracy. Machinists, maintenance technicians, and fabricators working with stainless hardware will find this screw appropriate for structural and non-structural metric fastening applications.
This screw is suited for use in industrial equipment assemblies, marine hardware, food-processing equipment, chemical processing fixtures, and any application where corrosion resistance is a primary requirement. The slotted drive accepts a standard flat-blade screwdriver, which is common in applications where torque requirements are moderate and assembly access allows straight-line tool engagement. The flush-mount flat head design is appropriate for panels, brackets, and components where a low-profile or recessed fastener is needed. Minimum order quantity is 5 pieces per order.
Designed for metric fastening applications requiring DIN 963 flat head slotted screws in M10x1.5 thread form. Suitable for use in any assembly specifying Grade 316 or A4 stainless steel DIN 963 hardware.
Installation is performed with a flat-blade screwdriver sized appropriately for the M10 slotted head. The mating component must be properly countersunk to the DIN 963 head angle to achieve a flush seating surface. Avoid over-torquing stainless steel fasteners, as galling can occur between mating stainless threads. Apply an anti-seize compound to the threads when installing into stainless or aluminum tapped holes to reduce the risk of thread seizure.
