The VALUE COLLECTION MSFX12030-050BX is a metric flat head slotted machine screw designed for general-purpose mechanical assembly and fastening applications. Manufactured from 18-8 stainless steel (A2 grade), it delivers reliable corrosion resistance in both indoor and outdoor environments. The flat head profile seats flush with or below the mating surface when countersunk, keeping assembled surfaces clean and snag-free. Thread size is M12x1.75 with an overall length of 30 millimeters. The bright, uncoated finish maintains dimensional accuracy and is compatible with standard M12 nuts, threaded inserts, and tapped holes. This fastener conforms to DIN 963 standards. It is sold individually and typically ordered by maintenance technicians, machinists, and fabricators.
This screw is suited for metal fabrication, machine assembly, structural bracketing, and equipment maintenance tasks requiring a metric M12 fastener. The flush-seating flat head makes it a common choice in panel assemblies, enclosures, and machinery frames where a low-profile finish is required. The 18-8 stainless steel construction makes it appropriate for mildly corrosive or washdown environments such as food processing equipment, marine hardware, and chemical plant assemblies. It is installed using a standard flat-blade slotted screwdriver or bit.
Designed as a DIN 963-compliant M12x1.75 flat head slotted machine screw. Compatible with standard M12 metric nuts, threaded inserts, and tapped holes machined to DIN or ISO metric thread specifications.
Install using a flat-blade screwdriver or slotted bit sized for an M12 screw head to avoid cam-out and head damage. Countersink the mating material to the appropriate DIN 963 angle before installation to achieve a flush or sub-flush seating surface. Torque to the value specified by the assembly engineer or equipment manufacturer for the applicable material and joint type. Stainless steel fasteners are susceptible to galling; apply an appropriate anti-seize compound to the threads when fastening into stainless or aluminum tapped holes.
