Installation Notes

Taper pins are installed by machinists and maintenance technicians using a standard pin punch and hammer or an arbor press after the mating hole has been reamed to the correct taper using a taper pin reamer. Drive the pin in from the small end and seat it firmly; do not overdrive, as this can damage the hole or the mating components.
