The VALUE COLLECTION MSC-67572008 is a 10-24 UNC pan head Phillips machine screw manufactured from 18-8 stainless steel with a bright, uncoated finish. At 1-1/2 inches in length measured under the head, this fastener delivers corrosion resistance suited to both interior and exterior applications. The pan head profile provides a broad bearing surface with a low-profile dome, and the Phillips drive allows fast installation with standard tooling. These screws are sold in a minimum quantity of 100 per order, making them appropriate for production, maintenance, and service work where consistent hardware supply is required.
This screw is used across a wide range of trade and light industrial applications including HVAC equipment assembly, electrical enclosure mounting, plumbing fixture attachment, and general mechanical fabrication. The 10-24 UNC thread form is one of the most common coarse-thread standards in inch-measurement systems, compatible with 10-24 tapped holes and standard hex nuts and nylon insert locknuts. The 18-8 stainless steel construction makes these fasteners a practical choice in environments with moisture exposure or where mild chemical resistance is needed.
Designed for use in standard 10-24 UNC tapped holes across inch-measurement mechanical assemblies, enclosures, and equipment panels.
These screws are installed by electricians, HVAC technicians, plumbers, and general mechanical trades using a Phillips screwdriver or Phillips bit with a power driver. Always de-energize electrical equipment before fastening or removing hardware inside panels or enclosures, in accordance with NFPA 70E lockout/tagout requirements. Do not overtighten into soft or thin materials where thread stripping is a risk. Stainless steel fasteners are susceptible to galling — apply an appropriate anti-seize compound when threading into stainless tapped holes to prevent seizing.
