The VALUE COLLECTION MSC-67569848 is a 10-32 x 3/8 inch pan head machine screw with a slotted drive, manufactured from grade 18-8 stainless steel with a bright, uncoated finish. This fastener uses a Unified National Fine (UNF) thread form and is sized with the length measured under the head. The corrosion-resistant 18-8 stainless steel construction makes it a reliable choice for applications where moisture exposure or chemical contact is a concern. Tradespeople, maintenance technicians, and fabricators rely on this type of fastener for panel assembly, electrical enclosure work, and equipment mounting tasks where a low-profile head and standard slotted drive are required.
This screw is suited for light-gauge metal panel fastening, electrical enclosures, HVAC equipment covers, and general mechanical assembly in both residential and commercial settings. The 10-32 UNF thread provides a fine pitch suitable for tapped holes in sheet metal and thin stock. The pan head profile offers a wide bearing surface without the raised crown of a round head, making it appropriate for flush or near-flush installations where clearance above the surface is limited. Sold in a minimum order quantity of 100 pieces per order.
Designed as a standard 10-32 UNF pan head machine screw for use in any application requiring a 10-32 threaded fastener with a pan head and slotted drive in inch-system measurement.
Install using a flat-blade screwdriver sized to fit the slot without slipping, which can damage the drive recess or surrounding material. Verify that the mating tapped hole or nut is also 10-32 UNF before installation. When fastening into electrical enclosures or equipment panels, de-energize the equipment per NFPA 70 (NEC) requirements before beginning work. Do not overtighten stainless steel fasteners, as the material is susceptible to galling when torqued aggressively against stainless threads.
