The VALUE COLLECTION MSC-04437331 is a straight flute bottoming tap designed for cutting internal 8-32 UNC threads in blind and through holes where full thread depth close to the bottom is required. Manufactured from high-speed steel with a bright, uncoated finish, it features four flutes and an H3 thread limit for close tolerance work. The tap has a 0.75 inch thread length and a 2.125 inch overall length. It is suited for use in machine shop, maintenance, and production environments where consistent 2B class of fit threads are needed in steel, aluminum, cast iron, and similar materials.

This bottoming tap is used in applications where a spiral-point or plug tap has already started the thread and full engagement to the bottom of a blind hole is required.
