The VALUE COLLECTION MSC-04426334 is a straight flute tap designed to cut internal threads in through-holes and blind holes where a bottoming chamfer is required. Built from high-speed steel (HSS) with a bright, uncoated finish, this tap cuts a 6-32 UNC thread profile to a 3B class of fit with an H2 thread limit. The three-flute straight geometry channels chips back out of the hole, making it suitable for use in softer ferrous and non-ferrous materials. Overall length is 2 inches with a thread length of 0.6875 inches, keeping the tool compact for confined work envelopes. Right-hand cutting direction. No coolant-through feature.
