The VALUE COLLECTION MS01D1125 is a worm drive hose clamp designed for securing hose connections across a wide range of plumbing, HVAC, and general mechanical applications. Built to SAE Size 8 specifications, this clamp accommodates hose and tubing with an outside diameter ranging from 7/16 inch to 1 inch. The band is formed from 201 stainless steel, providing corrosion resistance in wet and humid service environments. At 1/2 inch wide, the band distributes clamping force evenly around the hose surface, reducing the risk of cutting or distorting softer hose materials. Installation requires only a standard slotted or hex-head screwdriver or nut driver.
This worm gear clamp is suited for residential and light commercial use wherever a reliable, adjustable hose-to-barb or hose-to-nipple connection is required. Common applications include HVAC condensate drain lines, plumbing supply and drain hose connections, radiator hoses, and ductwork attachment points. The SAE 8 size rating makes it a widely stocked clamp for service technicians who carry a range of clamp sizes on the truck. Sold individually, with a minimum order quantity of 5 pieces.
Designed as a standard SAE 8 worm gear clamp suitable for hose and tubing with outside diameters between 7/16 inch and 1 inch across plumbing, HVAC condensate, and general mechanical hose connections.
Installation is performed by sliding the clamp over the hose before pushing the hose onto the fitting, positioning the clamp at least 1/4 inch from the hose end, and tightening with a flat-blade or hex-head driver. Turn off water supply, shut down equipment, and relieve system pressure before servicing any hose connection. Do not overtighten on thin-wall or soft hose materials, as excessive torque can cut through the hose wall. Follow applicable IPC or IFGC guidelines for hose connection requirements in plumbing and gas appliance condensate applications.
