The Value Collection MS01D1123 is a worm gear clamp rated SAE Size 6, designed to secure hose connections across a clamping range of 0.433 to 0.880 inches in diameter. The band is 0.5 inches wide and constructed from Grade 201 stainless steel, offering corrosion resistance in wet and high-humidity environments. The worm drive mechanism allows precise tightening with a standard slotted or hex-head screwdriver, making it a reliable fastening solution for plumbing, HVAC, and general mechanical hose applications. Plumbers, HVAC technicians, and mechanical contractors install these clamps where a dependable, adjustable band clamp is required on small-diameter hose and tubing assemblies.
This clamp is suited for residential and light commercial applications where hose connections on water lines, coolant lines, or low-pressure air lines require a secure, tool-tightened seal. The SAE 6 size fits hoses and tubing in the 3/8 to 7/8 inch outside diameter range, making it appropriate for smaller-diameter connections common in HVAC condensate lines, plumbing supply connections, and equipment coolant circuits. The stainless steel construction resists rust and mild chemical exposure typical in these service environments.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or standard service clamp for hoses and tubing with an outside diameter between 3/8 and 7/8 inches in residential and light commercial plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical applications.
Installation is performed by plumbers, HVAC technicians, or mechanical contractors using a flat-head screwdriver or 5/16 inch hex nut driver. Shut off the relevant water, fluid, or air supply before installing or replacing the clamp. Position the clamp over the hose end before seating the hose on the fitting, then tighten the worm gear screw firmly without overtightening, which can deform thin-wall hose or tubing. Verify the connection is leak-free under normal operating pressure before returning the system to service.
