The VALUE COLLECTION MPFZX03506-050BX is a metric flat head machine screw designed for precision fastening applications across mechanical, electrical, and light structural assemblies. This screw features an M3.5x0.6 thread and a 6.00 mm overall length, making it suitable for close-tolerance work where a flush or countersunk finish is required. The Pozidriv drive recess provides improved torque transfer and reduced cam-out compared to a standard Phillips head. Manufactured from 18-8 stainless steel to the A2 material grade, it offers solid corrosion resistance in both indoor and outdoor environments. The bright, uncoated finish preserves the natural stainless appearance and avoids any coating thickness that could affect toleranced fits.
This fastener is used in light-gauge metal fabrication, electronic enclosures, HVAC control panels, switchgear, and similar assemblies where a metric thread pitch and a low-profile head are required. The flat head countersinks flush with the mating surface, which is critical in applications where protrusion would obstruct adjacent components. Sold in a minimum order quantity of 50 pieces per box, this SKU is suited for shop stock, service van inventory, or repeat production use. Licensed trades workers and fabricators sourcing metric hardware for panel or equipment assembly will find this a dependable standard-grade fastener.
Designed as a DIN 965 compliant metric flat head machine screw for use in any application requiring an M3.5x0.6 thread pitch and a countersunk flat head drive configuration.
Installation should be performed with a correctly sized Pozidriv bit to avoid drive recess damage — a Phillips bit is not a proper substitute and will cause premature cam-out. Ensure the mating material is drilled and countersunk to the appropriate DIN 965 angle before fastening. De-energize any electrical enclosure or panel fully before inserting or removing fasteners in live equipment. Stainless fasteners should not be over-torqued in soft substrates, as galling can occur; apply an anti-seize compound where repeated removal is anticipated.
