The VALUE COLLECTION MPFX03014-050BX is a metric machine screw with a flat head and Phillips drive, manufactured from 18-8 stainless steel with a bright, uncoated finish. It conforms to DIN 965, the international standard for countersunk flat head screws with a cross recess. The M3x0.5 thread and 14 mm overall length make it a common fastener in light mechanical assemblies, electrical enclosures, and panel fabrication. Sold in a minimum quantity of 50 per order, this screw is suited for technicians, fabricators, and maintenance personnel who need a reliable metric fastener with corrosion resistance and a flush-mount head profile.
This fastener is used wherever a flush or countersunk surface is required in metric-threaded applications. Typical installations include equipment panels, junction boxes, electronic enclosures, and light structural assemblies in both indoor and light-duty outdoor environments. The 18-8 stainless steel grade provides adequate corrosion resistance for general-purpose use in non-aggressive environments. This screw is appropriate for use by electricians, HVAC technicians, and general maintenance trades working with metric-threaded hardware on commercial or residential equipment.
Designed as a standard DIN 965 metric machine screw for use in any M3x0.5 countersunk threaded application requiring a flat head Phillips fastener.
Install using a Phillips screwdriver or bit sized for M3 fasteners — an improperly sized bit will cam out and damage the recess. Countersink the mating hole to the correct DIN 965 angle before installation to achieve a proper flush fit. Do not exceed recommended torque for M3 stainless steel fasteners, as 18-8 stainless is susceptible to galling; apply an anti-galling compound if repeated removal is expected. De-energize any equipment before fastener installation or removal inside electrical enclosures.
