The VALUE COLLECTION MP31519 is a wedge lock washer designed to maintain fastener tension under vibration and dynamic loading conditions. Manufactured from Grade 2 steel with a zinc flake finish over zinc plating, it provides corrosion resistance in a wide range of installation environments. The washer measures 1.218 inches outer diameter with an inside diameter range of 0.782 to 0.798 inches, making it compatible with 3/4-inch threaded fasteners. Manufactured to ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards, this washer is suited for mechanical assemblies where loosening caused by vibration is a primary concern. Trade professionals in HVAC, plumbing, and electrical work rely on wedge lock washers where conventional flat or split washers are insufficient.
This wedge lock washer is used in residential and commercial applications wherever 3/4-inch fasteners require anti-loosening performance. Typical install scenarios include equipment mounting brackets, pipe supports, electrical panel assemblies, and mechanical equipment bases subject to vibration or thermal cycling. The zinc-plated zinc flake finish makes it appropriate for mildly corrosive or outdoor-exposed environments. Sold in a package quantity of five, it suits both single-fastener repairs and small multi-fastener assemblies.
Designed for use with 3/4-inch threaded fasteners in standard inch-measurement assemblies. Suitable as a direct replacement wedge lock washer wherever a 1.218-inch OD, 0.782-to-0.798-inch ID steel washer is specified.
Installation is performed by qualified mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, or electrical tradespeople as part of a bolted assembly. Always de-energize and lock out equipment before disassembling fastened joints on electrical or mechanical systems. Place the washer pair with cam faces together against the bearing surface; do not mix with standard flat or split washers in the same joint. Follow applicable codes such as NEC or IFGC for fastener requirements within those systems.
