The VALUE COLLECTION MDG342 25 is a 1-inch galvanized malleable iron pipe union designed for threaded pipe connections in plumbing, gas distribution, and industrial piping systems. Built to Class 150 standards, it handles up to 300 psi for liquid and gas service and up to 150 psi for steam service. The galvanized finish provides corrosion resistance in wet or outdoor environments. Licensed plumbers and pipefitters install this fitting in new construction and retrofit applications where a union joint is required to allow future disconnection of pipe runs without cutting.

This union is suited for residential and light commercial piping systems carrying water, gas, or steam. Threaded end connections conform to standard pipe thread specifications, making it compatible with standard black or galvanized iron pipe assemblies. The malleable iron construction provides the ductility needed to withstand vibration and thermal cycling common in mechanical rooms and utility installations.
