The VALUE COLLECTION MDG241 40X25 is a galvanized malleable iron hex bushing designed to reduce pipe size in threaded piping systems. It connects a 1-1/2 inch female thread to a 1 inch male thread, providing a compact, hex-body reduction fitting that can be turned with a standard wrench. Rated at 300 psi for liquid and gas service and 150 psi for steam, this fitting meets Class 150 requirements and is suitable for a broad range of fluid and gas piping applications. The galvanized finish adds corrosion resistance in exposed or moderately corrosive environments. Licensed plumbers and pipefitters are the primary installers.

Installation Notes
