The VALUE COLLECTION MDB241N 80X40 is a malleable iron threaded pipe bushing used to reduce a 3-inch female pipe thread to a 1-1/2-inch male pipe thread. It handles liquid and gas service up to 300 psi and steam service up to 150 psi, meeting Class 150 pressure ratings. The malleable iron construction provides the toughness and thread integrity required for demanding mechanical, plumbing, and piping systems. Plumbers and pipefitters install this bushing when reducing pipe sizes within a threaded assembly, eliminating the need for additional fittings and keeping the connection count low.

Installation Notes
