The VALUE COLLECTION LSNYDL2-5 is a partially insulated locking fork terminal designed for crimp-style wire terminations in electrical panels, control wiring, and equipment connections. The terminal accommodates wire sizes from 1.5 to 2.5 square millimeters and is rated for 600 volts. The copper contact and nylon insulation sleeve deliver reliable conductivity and mechanical protection in both residential and light commercial wiring applications. The locking design holds the terminal securely on a number 10 or 5.30 millimeter stud, reducing the risk of accidental loosening from vibration or repeated service. Licensed electricians and panel technicians are the primary installers of this terminal type.
This locking fork terminal is suited for use on grounding studs, terminal blocks, and equipment binding posts in electrical panels, HVAC control boards, motor connections, and similar low-voltage and line-voltage wiring assemblies. The blue color coding corresponds to the 1.5 to 2.5 square millimeter wire range, making it straightforward to identify the correct terminal during installation or inspection. It is an appropriate choice for both new wiring and maintenance work where a secure stud connection is required.
Designed for crimp termination onto number 10 studs (5.30 millimeters) in standard electrical and control wiring assemblies using 1.5 to 2.5 square millimeter conductors.
Installation should be performed by a qualified electrician in accordance with applicable NEC requirements. De-energize and lock out the circuit before terminating or removing any wiring. Use a calibrated ratcheting crimp tool rated for the wire gauge and terminal type to ensure a proper gas-tight crimp. Do not over-insert the wire or leave insulation inside the crimp barrel, as either condition can compromise connection integrity.
