The VALUE COLLECTION LSNY2-4 is a partially insulated locking fork terminal designed for crimp-style wire terminations in electrical panels, control wiring, and equipment connections. It accepts wire sizes from 1.5 to 2.5 square millimeters and is rated for 600 volts. The blue nylon insulation sleeve provides partial coverage and color-codes the connection for quick identification during installation or service. The copper contact body features a TiN (titanium nitride) plating for reliable conductivity and corrosion resistance. This terminal is sold in packs of 100 and is appropriate for electricians and control panel assemblers working on low-voltage and line-voltage wire terminations.
The LSNY2-4 fits a number 8 stud size, making it compatible with common screw terminal blocks, bus bars, and equipment binding posts found in residential and light commercial electrical and control applications. The locking fork design holds the terminal securely on the stud during installation, reducing the chance of the wire pulling free before the fastener is fully tightened. It is well suited for use in motor control centers, HVAC control boards, and electrical distribution panels wherever a secure, compact fork connection is required.
Designed for use with number 8 stud size terminal blocks, bus bars, and binding posts in residential and light commercial electrical and control wiring applications where a crimp-style locking fork terminal is specified.
Installation should be performed by a qualified electrician in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and any applicable local codes. De-energize the circuit completely before making or breaking any terminal connections. Use a calibrated crimp tool rated for the terminal and wire size to ensure a proper mechanical and electrical connection. Avoid over-crimping, which can damage the nylon insulation sleeve or deform the contact.
