The VALUE COLLECTION LSNY1-3.7 is a partially insulated locking fork terminal designed for reliable crimp connections in low-voltage wiring applications. Constructed with a copper contact body finished in TiN plating and a red nylon insulation sleeve, this terminal accepts wire sizes from 0.5 to 1.5 square millimeters and is rated for up to 600 volts. The locking fork design fits a No. 6 stud (3.70 mm), holding the terminal securely on the stud post even before the fastener is fully tightened. Electricians and panel wiring technicians use these terminals to terminate control wiring, sensor leads, and low-current circuits in electrical panels, HVAC controls, and instrumentation enclosures.
This terminal is suited for residential and light commercial electrical work where compact, secure wire terminations are required. The 0.89-inch overall length and 0.252-inch fork width keep the footprint small, making it practical in tight terminal blocks and control boards. The partially insulated barrel protects the wire entry point while leaving the fork open for stud mounting. Electricians should de-energize and lock out the circuit before terminating or disturbing any wiring. Use a calibrated ratcheting crimp tool sized for the 0.5 to 1.5 sq mm wire range to achieve a proper crimp; a poorly crimped terminal can cause high resistance or pull-out failure. Slide the fork over the stud before tightening the fastener, and verify the locking tab is properly seated. Installation should conform to NEC requirements for the applicable circuit type and enclosure rating.
