The VALUE COLLECTION JY63328694 is a straight flute tap designed to cut 11/16-32 UNS internal threads in a variety of ferrous and non-ferrous workpiece materials. Built from high-speed steel (HSS) with a bright uncoated finish, this tap delivers reliable thread-forming performance in production and maintenance machining environments. The bottoming chamfer geometry allows threading to the bottom of blind holes, making it well suited for applications where full thread depth close to the hole floor is required. With four flutes and an H3 thread limit tolerance, it produces consistent, on-spec threads for right-hand fastener applications. Installation is performed by machinists and toolroom technicians using a standard tap wrench, tapping head, or CNC rigid tapping cycle.
This tap is intended for use in threading operations that require a fine 32-thread-per-inch pitch on an 11/16-inch nominal diameter. The UNS (Unified National Special) thread standard makes it applicable in specialized mechanical assemblies where standard UNC or UNF pitches are not used. The bottoming chamfer style is particularly useful in blind-hole applications found in machined components, fixtures, and repair work across industrial, HVAC equipment manufacturing, and general trade maintenance settings. Coolant-through capability is not available on this tap, so conventional flood or brush-applied cutting fluid should be used.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or direct-use tap for any application requiring a right-hand 11/16-32 UNS internal thread in standard tapping chucks, tap wrenches, or rigid tapping setups that accept straight-shank HSS taps.
This tap should be installed by a qualified machinist or toolroom technician familiar with tapping speeds, feeds, and cutting fluid requirements for the workpiece material. Always secure the workpiece and ensure the tap is properly aligned before beginning the threading operation to avoid tap breakage. Apply an appropriate cutting fluid for the material being tapped; do not run dry. Follow applicable shop safety procedures and machine tool manufacturer guidelines when operating tapping equipment.
