The VALUE COLLECTION JY4877155 is a 1-3/4-16 UNS bottoming hand tap ground from high speed steel with a bright uncoated finish. It is designed to cut internal threads to the bottom of a blind hole, making it the final step in a standard tap sequence after taper and plug taps have been used. The H4 thread limit and 3B class of fit suit close-tolerance production work. Six straight flutes provide chip clearance and smooth cutting action on ferrous and non-ferrous materials. This bottoming tap is suited for threading applications where the full thread depth must reach near the bottom of a blind hole.
