The VALUE COLLECTION IRG-36-BKN is a flexible rubber grommet designed to protect wiring, cables, tubing, and hoses where they pass through sheet metal panels, bulkheads, and enclosures. The grommet seats into a punched or drilled hole, cushioning the edge to prevent abrasion and chafing of the material passing through it. With a 1-1/8-inch outside diameter, a 3/4-inch inside diameter, and an overall thickness of approximately 9/32 inch (0.2813 inches), it fits a standard 7/8-inch diameter slot opening with a slot width of 0.063 inches. The black rubber compound carries a Shore A hardness rating of 50-60, giving it the flexibility to snap into place while maintaining a firm seat.
