Manufactured to ANSI insert code WPMT32.52 and ISO code WPMT06T308, this insert features an 80-degree trigon (W) shape with a positive side clearance angle of 11 degrees. The substrate is solid carbide with a titanium nitride (TiN) coating applied to extend cutting edge life and reduce built-up edge on ferrous workpiece materials. The inscribed circle measures 3/8 inch (0.3750 inch) and the corner radius is 1/32 inch (0.0313 inch). It is held in the toolholder by a screw-type clamping method and is sized for standard WPMT-style insert pockets.

This insert is suited for turning, facing, and light profiling applications in a shop or production machining environment.
