The VALUE COLLECTION ICP26570D is a solid carbide turning insert designed for use in CNC and manual lathe applications. Conforming to ANSI insert code SNMG543 and ISO insert code SNMG150612, this insert features a square shape (S) with a 90-degree included angle, a 5/8-inch inscribed circle, and a 3/64-inch corner radius. The TCN55 manufacturer grade designates its carbide composition, rated at material grade C5, making it suitable for turning ferrous and non-ferrous workpiece materials. A negative side clearance and clamp-plus-pin holding method provide secure indexing in compatible toolholders. Machinists and tool-and-die technicians are the primary installers.

This insert is applied in turning operations on lathes where a square, double-sided negative-rake insert is specified. Primary workpiece material codes M and P indicate suitability for stainless steel and general steel alloys. The G-style chip breaker geometry assists in chip control during medium to semi-finish turning passes.
