The VALUE COLLECTION ICC21020L is a solid carbide turning insert designed for precision metal cutting on CNC lathes and manual turning centers. Manufactured to ANSI insert code TPGH321 and ISO code TPGH160304, this uncoated carbide insert features a 60-degree triangular shape with a positive side clearance and an 11-degree relief angle. The inscribed circle measures 3/8 inches (0.3750 inches) and the corner radius is 1/64 inches (0.0156 inches). Grade I22 carbide with a bright, uncoated finish provides a sharp cutting edge suited for finishing and semi-finishing passes where coating adhesion or heat are less critical. Licensed machinists and CNC operators are the primary installers of this insert type.

This insert is suited for turning applications involving non-ferrous metals, cast iron, stainless steel, and high-temperature alloys, corresponding to primary workpiece material codes K, M, N, and S. Installation Notes

Installation is performed by a qualified machinist or CNC operator. Ensure the machine spindle is fully stopped and all motion is locked out before changing inserts. Use the appropriate torx or hex key specified by the toolholder manufacturer to seat the clamping screw; do not over-torque the insert screw, as carbide is brittle and may fracture.
