The VALUE COLLECTION HN4XX00350-200BX is an M3.5 x 0.60 metric hex nut manufactured from Grade 316 austenitic stainless steel, conforming to Fastener Standard DIN 934. Grade 316 stainless provides enhanced corrosion resistance compared to Grade 304, making it suitable for wet, marine, and chemically aggressive environments. The nut measures 6 mm across flats and 2.80 mm in height, with a right-hand thread and a bright, uncoated finish. This is a standard hardware fastener installed by maintenance technicians, millwrights, HVAC technicians, plumbers, and electricians wherever metric fastening is required in corrosion-prone applications.
This hex nut is used in light-duty to medium-duty assembly applications where metric M3.5 fasteners are specified. Typical installation scenarios include equipment panel assembly, enclosure fabrication, plumbing fixture mounting, and electrical conduit support hardware in environments exposed to moisture, chlorides, or mild chemical contact. The austenitic Grade A4 classification makes it well-suited for coastal installations, pool and spa equipment, and food-processing or sanitary system assemblies. This SKU is sold in a minimum order quantity of 200 units per order.
Designed for use with M3.5 x 0.60 metric bolts and threaded fasteners conforming to DIN or ISO metric thread standards. Verify thread pitch and engagement depth against mating fastener specifications before installation.
Installation should be performed with a metric hex wrench or nut driver sized for 6 mm across flats. Follow applicable torque guidelines for M3.5 stainless fasteners per the relevant equipment manufacturer specifications, as stainless steel fasteners are susceptible to galling if over-torqued without lubrication. Apply an appropriate anti-seize compound when assembling stainless-to-stainless fastener pairs to prevent thread seizing. Always de-energize and isolate equipment before performing fastener work on live electrical or mechanical assemblies.
