The VALUE COLLECTION HC3XX10070-010BX is a fully threaded hex head cap screw manufactured from Grade 316 austenitic stainless steel classified as material grade A4. Dimensioned at M10 x 1.50 thread pitch with a 70 mm length under head, it features a 17 mm hex drive and an uncoated bright finish. This fastener conforms to DIN 933, EN 24017, and ISO 4017 standards, making it a reliable choice for metric bolting applications where corrosion resistance and dimensional accuracy are required. Installation is performed with standard metric tooling by maintenance technicians, millwrights, pipefitters, or other trades working with metric hardware.
This screw is suited for use in marine, chemical processing, food service, and general industrial environments where Grade 316 stainless steel is specified for its elevated resistance to chlorides and corrosive media. Its fully threaded shank provides maximum thread engagement across the full grip length, which is especially useful in through-bolt and shorter-clamp-length assemblies. The metric thread form and DIN/ISO conformance make it compatible with standard metric tapped holes and metric nuts commonly used in equipment manufactured to European and international specifications.
Designed for use in standard M10 x 1.50 metric tapped holes and with M10 metric nuts conforming to DIN, EN, or ISO specifications. Suitable wherever Grade 316 or A4 stainless steel fasteners are called out in fabrication, maintenance, or equipment assembly documentation.
Install using a 17 mm metric wrench or socket driver; follow equipment manufacturer torque specifications or applicable industry fastener standards for M10 hardware. Grade 316 stainless fasteners are susceptible to galling — apply an appropriate anti-seize compound to the threads before installation to prevent thread seizure, particularly in stainless-to-stainless assemblies. Inspect mating threads for damage or contamination before installation. Do not use impact tools at full power without a torque-limiting attachment, as overtorque can stretch or fracture stainless fasteners.
