The VALUE COLLECTION G92 10 is a malleable iron 90-degree street elbow designed for threaded pipe systems in plumbing, mechanical, and gas distribution applications. This Class 150 fitting is galvanized for corrosion resistance and rated for 300 psi on liquid and gas service and 150 psi on steam service. The 3/8-inch fitting connects directly to pipe threads on one end and accepts a threaded fitting on the other, allowing direction changes in tight spaces without an additional coupling. Licensed plumbers and pipefitters install this type of fitting during rough-in and system assembly work where a 90-degree change of direction is required.
This street elbow is suited for residential and light commercial piping systems handling water, liquid petroleum, natural gas, and low-pressure steam. The threaded end connections follow standard pipe thread dimensions, making it compatible with standard NPT or BSP threaded systems where ISO 228 and ISO 7/1 specifications apply. Its compact street-elbow configuration is commonly used in gas supply lines, compressed air headers, fire protection branches, and general plumbing roughing-in where space around the fitting is limited.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation fitting for standard 3/8-inch threaded malleable iron pipe systems in Class 150 service applications.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber or pipefitter in accordance with the International Plumbing Code and applicable local codes. Shut off and depressurize the system completely before disassembling or installing any threaded fitting. Apply an appropriate thread sealant or PTFE tape to male threads before assembly, and tighten to the fitting manufacturer-recommended engagement depth without over-tightening, which can crack malleable iron. Inspect threads for damage before installation and pressure-test the system after assembly.
