The VALUE COLLECTION G90 80 is a Class 150 malleable iron 90-degree pipe elbow designed for threaded pipe connections in plumbing, mechanical, and gas distribution systems. Rated at 300 psi for liquid and gas service and 150 psi for steam, this fitting handles demanding pressure requirements in both commercial and industrial environments. The galvanized finish provides corrosion resistance for longevity in wet or exposed installations. At 3 inches, it is sized for main distribution lines and larger branch connections. Plumbers and pipefitters install this elbow where a 90-degree directional change is needed in a threaded iron pipe system.
This elbow is suited for use in gas distribution, water supply, steam systems, and industrial fluid lines requiring a Class 150 threaded fitting. The 3-inch size is common in commercial plumbing, mechanical rooms, and industrial facilities where higher flow capacity is needed. The galvanized malleable iron construction meets FM, NSF, and cULus listing requirements, making it appropriate for potable water and fire protection system applications where certified components are required.
Designed as a standard Class 150 threaded malleable iron fitting compatible with 3-inch iron pipe systems in plumbing, gas, and steam applications meeting FM, NSF/ANSI 61, NSF/ANSI 372, ISO 7/1, and cULus listing requirements.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber or pipefitter in accordance with applicable codes including the IPC and IFGC. Power down or shut off all relevant gas, steam, or fluid supply lines and depressurize the system completely before beginning work. Apply appropriate thread sealant or PTFE tape to threaded connections and tighten to the fitting manufacturer recommendations without over-torquing malleable iron threads. Verify system pressure does not exceed the rated limits after installation and before returning the system to service.
