Product Description

The VALUE COLLECTION G241 80X50 is a malleable iron pipe bushing used to reduce a 3-inch pipe connection down to a 2-inch pipe connection in threaded piping systems. It features NPT (National Pipe Taper) threads and carries a 300 psi pressure rating for both liquid and gas service as well as steam service. The galvanized finish provides corrosion resistance for use in demanding mechanical environments. This bushing is installed by licensed plumbers and pipefitters working on commercial and industrial piping systems.

This bushing is suited for use in liquid, gas, and steam piping systems where a threaded 3-inch to 2-inch reduction is required. Its Class 150 malleable iron construction meets FM Approved, ISO 7/1, and cULus Listed standards, making it appropriate for a wide range of regulated installations including fire protection, mechanical, and industrial process piping. Installation Notes

Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber or pipefitter in accordance with applicable codes such as the IPC or IFGC. Shut off and depressurize the piping system completely before removing or installing any threaded fittings. Use appropriate pipe thread sealant or PTFE tape rated for the intended service medium. Do not exceed the rated working pressure of 300 psi for the installed service type.
