The VALUE COLLECTION G130R 20X8 is a Class 150 malleable iron tee reducer fitting designed for threaded pipe assemblies in plumbing, HVAC, and general piping systems. It connects a 3/4-inch run on both ends of the tee with a 3/4-inch outlet and reduces to a 1/4-inch branch outlet. The galvanized finish provides corrosion resistance for both liquid and gas service. Rated at 300 psi for liquid and gas and 150 psi for steam, this fitting handles a broad range of residential and commercial pressure requirements. It is installed by licensed plumbers, pipefitters, and HVAC technicians working with iron pipe systems.
This tee reducer is suited for threaded iron pipe installations in residential and light commercial applications. Typical uses include gas distribution lines, water supply piping, compressed air systems, and steam lines operating within the rated pressure limits. The FM Approved and cULus Listed certifications make it acceptable for use in fire protection and listed equipment installations where third-party approval is required. The ISO 7/1 thread standard ensures compatibility with tapered pipe threads common in North American and international piping systems.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation fitting for threaded malleable iron pipe systems rated at Class 150 in plumbing, gas, and HVAC piping applications.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber or pipefitter in accordance with applicable local codes and the International Plumbing Code or International Fuel Gas Code as required. Shut off and depressurize the pipe system completely before removing any existing fittings or making new connections. Apply appropriate thread sealant or PTFE tape to male threads before assembly; do not overtighten, as malleable iron threads can crack under excessive torque. For gas service, verify all connections with an approved leak-detection method before restoring pressure.
